Park District
The Hanover Township Park District, located at 500 Fillmore St. (old Hanover High School), was formed and funded by a popular referendum in April 2003 after many years of organization and volunteer work. Among their first actions was to purchase the former Hanover School vacated that summer by the River Ridge School District.
In addition to ongoing programming, rooms are available for daily or long-term rental by the public. The Park District operates a Fitness Center that you can use during business hours or join on a monthly basis for unlimited access. Send questions and comments to htpd@jcwifi.com. Fitness Center
To use the Fitness Center, Weight Room, and Small Gym facilities, the Membership Application must be filled out, signed, and returned to the Park District Office along with waivers that must be filled out and signed by each family member: the Fitness/Weight Room Waiver for 18 and older family members; the Under 18 Waiver for family members under 18 years of age. Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt is the Saturday before Easter, with the Egg Hunt beginning at 11 am !
Party/Banquet rooms available for rent for any occassion.
G.E.A.R. Program during winter months.
The Hanover Park District now has “YARD SALE” signs available for use by any Hanover resident. The signs can be borrowed from the Park District and then must be returned.
